A CASTLE FOR THE OPERA
Proceno Castle is a fascinating witness to military architecture in the Middle Ages.
Its armony offers a unique natural scenary both for the itinerant audience and for those sitting in the stalls. Restored with a passion by Cecchini Bisoni family, with its walls, merlons, tower and drawing bridge, it offers an ideal back-ground for the great, immortal love-and-death dramas of opera music. The cultural-musical project it's going to host aims to promote the image of a territory rich with heritage, through art and music, in line with a prestigious tradition. The Castle becomes theatre. Its walls, its corners, its towers become a natural setting. G.B. PERGOLESI
