In close vicinity to the well known "white city" of Ostuni lies this masseria, a true jewel.
This as well with a look to the site as a whole which in its spaciousness and generosity will be hard to be topped and its equipment, furnishing and manyfold service offers.
Here, too, the origins go back centuries: nucleus was an old watch tower integrated into an overall system that covered all of Puglia.
Around this stark tower a number of further buildings were brought up, most of them as conventional structures, some as a trullo.
All restored with great care and the clearly visible intention to preserve historical parts and thus maintain the authenticity of its history and the landscape around.
The thick walls provide confidence and well- being, and the desired "privacy" of the single rooms and suites as well.
Furnished with lots of taste, all technical installations one would expect from a top object of today including a very well equipped wellness area.
Room, all diffently furnished
Different rooms for different seasons, reading rooms where one can find the desired privacy, huge restaurant with open kitchen section, elegant pool with sloped edge, bar service in summer season. All that embedded into the typical and charming Puglia flora including a number of fruit trees.
One will feel at home immediately, also due to the management who combine high professionally with amiable unobtrusiveness.
As a side remark: the entire energy for the property is provided by a solar panel system, which means zero CO2 emission.
Cervarolo shows its very particular and unique style that welcomes and surrounds the guest from the first moment on. The owners' motto to be high-class but maintaining a special flair is being implemented with high credibility and impresses the guest from the moment of his arrival.
Interesting to know: The chapel of the 18th century has been carefully restored.

Ostuni, the white city
You simply cannot miss it, glooming in brightest white in the sun and the fantastic light and illumination of Puglia that is of outstanding intensity; and out of all this appears Ostuni, clear against the landscape surrounding.
On top of the hill there is the old town. The towers of Baroque church of Santa Maria Maddalena are higher than the core of the old town and distinguishes herself by the grey stone from the white terrace shaped houses around.
Trulli with their grey roofs and white tips and centenarian olive trees along our way when getting closer to town. People say even nowadays the oriental style is still dominant in the white city of Ostuni.
It is the light of Puglia that is with us all the time, bright and clear like he stones of the houses and the white crest waves of the sea.
