Podere Il Pozzino
The large property of San Lorenzo is divided into three smaller poderi all of which autonomous and independent.
Each of them forms its own entity with its own pool.
Lively and esthetically pleasing the apartments - all restored up to the expectations and needs of today.
Out of this we offer in the first place one section, namely house and apartments of "Podere Il Pozzino" - just recently (2010) restored.
Here you may find the most elegant apartments of the property.
Il Pozzino consist of one house and 8 superior apartments. The bright and spacious rooms are kept in warm and cosy colours and furnished with care.
Maremma horses - Natural Reserve "Parco dell'Uccellina"
The apartments with two, three or four rooms have a large living room and cleverly designed kitchenettes. Each apartment has its own veranda.
Not to forget the very large pool area with relax zone and comfortable sun-loungers.
The Maremma, most Southern part of the region of Tuscany, is renowned for its unique landscape, beautiful beaches with top tested water quality, enormous forests including natural reserves with its special flora and fauna, uncounted traces of the Etruscans and last but not least the particular and typical Macchia Maremmana.

The Viletta up to 5 persons is a completely independant little house, visibly separated from the main building and offers much privacy. A huge old broadleaf tree provides natural shadow on the terrace which is equipped with table and chairs. Everything is on one level. The large living is dining room at the same time with a comfortable kitchenette integrated. Very nice the two bedrooms; the yellow ochre walls make a charming contrast with the blue and white beds. The bedrooms have single beds, if so desired you may ask with the booking to have them put togetheras a comfortable double bed.

For gourmets it might be of interest that the Maremma is the main area for the breeding of the famous white cattle that might end on your plate as the not less famous Bisteccha Fiorentina....
The beaches at Castiglione di Pescalia have been and continue to be figuring in absolute top positions in the national evaluations for the cleanness of the water.
Punta Ala, West of Grosseto, is an elegant and international place at the seaside, almost mundane, with an excellent marina as well as one of Italy's most beautiful golf courses amidst century old cork oaks and a view onto the Med from some holes.
For the interested golfer there is another course at little distance, Argentario Golf on the peninsula Monte Argentario, perhaps 1/2 hour South of Grosseto. This very beautiful part of Tuscany has with the towns of Orbetello, Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole other jewels of the Tyrrenian coastline to offer. An adventurous and romantic round tour on the peninsula with breathtaking views will please also non-golfers.
Worthwhile also a short trip to Populonia, slightly North of Follonica. You will reach all these places close to the coastline easily and quickly as they are all located close to the main superstrada Aurelia SS1. By the way: such a trip to the North makes you pass another golf course: Il Pelagone, beautiful and demanding course.
