These three prestigious apartments, surrounded by an enchanting garden, are situated in the commune of Impruneta, amidst the impressive Tuscan hills - one of the picture-book landscapes we dream of – just 7 kilometres from the historic city centre of Florence; the ideal place to relax and enjoy Florence and its everlasting fascination and flair.
“Golfers” will find in the nearby neighbourhood the internationally renowned Ugolino golf course.
The location of this Apartments near Florence is absolutely ideal for exploring the whole of Tuscany.
In shortest time you can reach the motorway, and the “Raccordo” to Siena – or why not taking the old “Cassia” and pass through the lovely country side of the Chianti Classico.
Going to Pisa direction you use the FiPiLi (Firenze/Pisa/Livorno) highway-like, also when you come from Pisa airport “Galileo Galilei“.
You enter the property through a beautiful electric driven wrought-iron gate.
Characteristic for the area itself is the fact that it extends over different levels.
A private road leads to the part which is exclusively for the guests´ use and includes a partly covered private car park.
From here onward different paths lead to the respective apartments: one leads towards the apartment Aia on the west side, the other one towards Frantoio and Tinaia on the east side.
The large swimming pool is situated about 50 meters below the house on a separate level. Each of the apartments near Florence has a very beautiful terrace equipped with comfortable garden furniture.
The apartments offer high comfort; they have been restored with much taste and in an elegant manner retaining wherever possible the original character.
The charming furniture consequently matches this style. All apartments are equipped with comfortable and nice bath rooms. All windows offer a view of the typical Tuscan landscape.
The owner and her small family are living on the property as well and are looking forward to your visit. She is very hospitable and will give you any kind of support.
Olive oil from own local production can be purchased on the spot.

A small corridor leads to a not too big but very nice bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The same corridor opens to a staircase up to the first floor with the second bedroom, rather big and also with its own bath room. |

The restored oil press thus adds a charming and especially characteristic note to this room. Into the living room a small kitchenette has nicely been incorporated; living and eating areas have been optically separated by a spacious arch. A very nice corridor with a door opening onto the terrace leads to the sleeping area and the bathroom. In the living room a comfortable couch sleeps another two persons. For two people who want to have a lot of space this is the ideal place for a holiday. |

Separated from Frantoio lies apartment Tinaia, a lovely little apartment with terrace and pergola and beautiful panoramic view. The apartment is completely autonomous with its small kitchenette (two hotplates) and little eating area. Tinaia was built from a former wine cellar – 'tinaia' is the term for the wooden barrel that held the wine for storage. This apartment will be well tempered also during hot summers. A table oven can be made available on request. For a couple who does a lot of sight seeing, just the right place. |

Whoever does not want to go to Florence using his own car can take a public bus instead (bus stop with parking only 2km from the house). At Tavarnuzze, 2 kilometres away, you will get everything for your daily needs. Here is also the bus stop, buses departing for train station SMN (very central in Florence) about every 20 minutes. There is also a sports centre including a good tennis court.
Don’t forget to make a trip to Impruneta; you can get there the still “top quality” terracotta vases at a better price – in case you still have space left in your car.
