Have you ever spent your holiday in a castle? If so, you will know how romantic that can be. If not, here is an opportunity to find out!
Charming apartments are at your disposal, all different in structure, but all of them of the same degree of comfort and with splendid view in beautiful surrounding and panoramic position on the border of Tuscany in the North of Lazio - in a 12th century castle.

Attractive at all seasons: in summer you can enjoy the large pool in the garden with bushes in blossom and centuries old trees, plus the garden restaurant in a restored old barn for romantic dinners.

During winter time huge open fireplaces will create in the apartments the old country house flair, charming are also dinners at the country style enoteca (wine bar).

A real fortress must, of course, have its own escape route – as is the case at our castello; today this short but really impressive (to take it for the first time is a kind of positive adventure) route leads directly from the courtyard to the garden and the pool.
At the pool there are more than enough lounges, sun umbrellas, tables and chairs, plus toilets and changing cabins with shower.

The spectrum of places more than worthwhile to see is manifold, let yourself get inspired by the proposals the lady of the castle will make, and explore Tuscia.
Here you will be in the position to start: to see cultural attractions and regions not just of Lazio but of Tuscany and Umbria as well.

You have the possibility of romantic dinners:
the restaurant offers fabulous dishes, following old traditions combined with cleverly selected new ideas.

During summer there is a music festival in the owners private castel garden including the tower with its draw bridge.

At Castello di Proceno you will stay in a strongly fortified castle from the 12th century – with its nice enlargement stemming from renaissance and all comfort of today, all in all a more than interesting combination.

The medieval little town of Proceno has not changed much its appearance over the centuries and, together with the Castello, proudly presents itself high on top of the hill.
It were the Etruscans who first founded Proceno; and the picturesque town is showing its history of more than 2000 years with great charm.
