Al Papa
This Tuscany Villa has recently been completely restored.
You will be pleased with the building, its location and the more than elegant way it is furnished.
It is located on the Southern slope of the hills above Lucca, the Colline Lucchesi in the neighbourhood of the old villas of Lucca’s noble families, in other words in the most privileged area around Lucca.

The pool is some 30 m off the house, close enough to see the kids, far enough away to enjoy and relax at the house.
There are 6 sun lounges.
This Exclusive Tuscany Villa itself is most solid, built of the typical local stone thus retaining its countryside character perfectly.

Exquisite architecture, divided internally in a way that is as charming as it is functional and comfortable.
The furniture consists of well selected local antiques, the colours chosen give evidence of the owners’ excellent taste – all in all one of the most inviting places I have seen in Tuscany - “accogliente” as the Italians would say.
Beautiful terracotta floors, huge fireplace, a cosy reading corner, well selected pictures and old coppers, beamed ceilings – everything “fits” in this very airy and bright Exclusive Tuscany Villa and will offer you an opportunity to spend relaxed holidays in an exceptionally charming atmosphere.

In my view it has thus become one of the places one falls in love with from the very first moment!
A well hardened private way leads up to the house.
On the opposite side a hedge of evergreens serves as a kind of border to an alongside country path sometimes used by agricultural vehicles.
You are invited to walk on the paths between the lovely vineyards and old olive groves.
For 2010 there are some improving modifications planned: comfortable easy chairs with cushions for the outdoor area and decorative gratings for the small windows.

Who wants to be spoiled will also see the mundane Spa of Montecatini Terme. Since centuries illustrious guests have drunk the well known waters and wandered through the marvellous gardens.
Who would want to daydream will make an excursion to the enchanting though wild- romantic landscape of "Garfagnana", part of the province of Lucca, that has still maintained the quietness and tranquillity of times long gone, still today of breathtaking beauty.
At the Lago di Massaciuccoli Puccini festivals take place in summer. It is here where Puccini has lived in his villa which is now his mausoleum . The "Open Air Opera" is a fantastic spectacle; the extended scenery given by the romantic light of sunset over the lake with the blue-black silhouette of the mountains as background. Well-known vocalists will perform.
In the immediate vicinity there are the famous Lucca Villas with their parks and mediterranean gardens , very well kept untill today, with the very typical lemon trees in terracotta pots.
Just around the corner is the home of Pinocchio. His creator, Carlo Lorenzini, called also Collodi, whose family comes from the homonymous town, a hundred years ago has written "Pinocchio's Adventures".
Next to the Holy Bible and the Koran it is said to be the most-read book in the world at its time.
Below the town of Collodi, worth to be visited, lies the Pinocchio Park where his adventures can be seen and felt, where we can even be part of it and have us abducted into his world of fairy tales. A true adventure for the kids and the adults as well!
