This former manor lies just on top of the row of hills separating Lucca from the sea in absolutely great panoramic location: just submontane is Lago Massaciuccoli with Puccini's famous Villa at Torre di Lago where he composed his well known opusses and indulged his passion of duck hunting.
The location of the property is truly fantastic, not just because of the views, the climate and the quietness, but also for its proximity to Lucca, Pisa and the sea.

La Pietra has been once again restored in 1998; surrounded by charming blooming bushes and flowers it lies in vicinity with two other houses in breathtaking panoramic location.

In front of you there are the tops of close or more distant hills and of course at some distance the sea. One can see the Pisa pending tower and the dome cupola and towards the sea even the islands like Corsica under good weather conditions.

The lower level of the house consists of a large and very comfortable room, a strong pillar at the middle supports the architecture of the upper floor and optically divides the room into several living levels. Next to it, separable by a door, there is the kitchen area, an old annex. This very airy kitchen with splendid view to the surroundings shows to be a modern and very tastefully furnished place; the working table is of red marble, truly elegant.
A closed stone staircase leads to the upper floor into a small corridor, giving way to to the large bedroom with double bed and en-suite bath-room and to the other bedroom (single beds) and the second bath-room (tub). The bath-rooms are modern and elegantly furnished; red/greens marble for the consoles, gray/white for the floor.

Beautiful antiques, most of which rather country style, dominate this Tuscany holiday home's furnishing. The opus of three artists give the house esprit and the touch of something special.
In the vicinity of the house there is a pool in fabulous panoramic location that serves exclusively the guests of the holiday houses Torre and Pietra. The area around the pool and the three buildings is somewhat separated by differences in level which create a natural division between the various sections and houses. The pool area is equipped with sun loungers and chairs.
The third house on the property is the former farm house, that is where the owner's mother is living - completely withdrawn and helped by house servants. Alongside Pietra there is a path leading to and ending at the farm house used just for passage by car, perhaps twice per week. These three historic houses of peasant origin are placed in the most spectacular location of the large property. At about 100 meters distance lies the old mason (villa) with its annexes. In former times wine and olive oil were produced at the farm; now there is no more farming activity and you may enjoy the calmness at this truly unusually pretty place with its almost unending range of its great panorama - a unique feel of freedom.
