The apartments offer high comfort; they have been restored with much taste and in an elegant manner retaining wherever possible the original character.
The charming furniture consequently matches this style. All apartments are equipped with comfortable and nice bath rooms. All windows offer a view of the typical Tuscan landscape.
The owner and her small family are living on the property as well and are looking forward to your visit. She is very hospitable and will give you any kind of support.

Enter the living room from the terrace; from here you access the beautiful and well equipped modern kitchen with dining area.
A small corridor leads to a not too big but very nice bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
The same corridor opens to a staircase up to the first floor with the second bedroom, rather big and also with its own bath room. |

From a charming terrace with also marvellous panoramic view and in part covered by a wisteria pergola you enter the living room that also in summer is well tempered.
In this room olive oil used to be pressed and the precious juice dripped into a terracotta vase mounted in the floor.
The restored oil press thus adds a charming and especially characteristic note to this room. |

Into the living room a small kitchenette has nicely been incorporated; living and eating areas have been optically separated by a spacious arch.
A very nice corridor with a door opening onto the terrace leads to the sleeping area and the bathroom. In the living room a comfortable couch sleeps another two persons.
For two people who want to have a lot of space this is the ideal place for a holiday. |

Tinaia Apartment near Florence

Separated from Frantoio lies apartment Tinaia, a lovely little apartment with terrace and pergola and beautiful panoramic view.
The apartment is completely autonomous with its small kitchenette (two hotplates) and little eating area.
Tinaia was built from a former wine cellar – 'tinaia' is the term for the wooden barrel that held the wine for storage.
This apartment will be well tempered also during hot summers.
A table oven can be made available on request. |

The apartments near Florence are an ideal point of departure for trips to Florence and all other places worthwhile to visit in Tuscany; you can reach the motorway and the raccordo to Siena in just 5 minutes.
Whoever does not want to go to Florence using his own car can take a public bus instead (bus stop with parking only 2km from the house). At Tavarnuzze, 2 kilometres away, you will get everything for your daily needs. Here is also the bus stop, buses departing for train station SMN (very central in Florence) about every 20 minutes. There is also a sports centre including a good tennis court.
Don’t forget to make a trip to Impruneta; you can get there the still “top quality” terracotta vases at a better price – in case you still have space left in your car.
